The Batch Runner schedules projects to be run on the parallel network and monitors the status of the projects in the batch queue. The Batch Run Control Panel dialog, shown below, is the user interface to the Batch Runner.

Batch Run Control Panel

The Batch Run Control Panel dialog, shown above, has upper and lower panels which contain lists of projects. The upper list shows the projects that are in the batch queue and scheduled to be run on the Master Server.  The lower list allows the user to set up batch runs by choosing the the projects to be run  from a library of projects. There are versions of the batch run control panel written  in both Java and in C#.  The program shown on this page is written in Java

Batch Run Editor

The Batch Run Editor shows the user the batch runs that are stored in the database. The user can edit the name or description of a batch run by double clicking the appropriate cell in the table. Clicking 'Delete' deletes the selected batch run. Selecting a batch run causes the projects in the batch run to be displayed in the list below. Clicking the 'Add To Pending Batch Queue' button causes the projects in the list above to be copied to the Projects that are waiting to be scheduled list in the Batch Run Control Panel.
